An other feature that would save me some time:
The possebility to delete the "original" and the duplicate file at once as it happens that I don't like both files... That way I could get rid of it immediately instead of using an other application. |

| If i get u right, you should use a tool to delete files duplicate from the drives, i use duplicate finder 2009 for such aim. |

My original post was a suggestion for Duplicate Photo Finder published by FirmTools.
I had a look at the tool you suggested and have to say it is not at all what is needed to identify photo duplicates - at least as far as I could test it. It doesn't analyze the content of images, it just finds identical files or filenames via various methods. So Pictures with different resolution or slight changes are not found as duplicates which is the specific task of Duplicate Photo Finder.
Unfortunately FirmTools doesn't seem to react to user input nor are they improving their software nor do they adapt it to new OS versions. Which are the main reasons I am very disappointed by that company. |

I too thinking for Pictures with different resolution or slight changes are not found as duplicates which is the specific task of Duplicate Photo Finder. But have not got correct tool..!! can u help me? |
